Technical infrastructure
The initiative Digital Peer Publishing offers a comprehensive technical platform for the production of eJournals and the distribution of documents.
The platform incorporates international standards of electronic publishing and reflects principles of Service Oriented Architectures:
- Open and sustainable formats, such as XML (DocBook) as standard for conversion and document archiving
- Barrier free web publishing
- OAI-PMH for indexing and distribution
- Dublin Core (qualified)
- Persistent Identifiers (URN) for secure retrieval and citation
- RSS support
