DiPP supports different licenses fostering the ideas of open access in scholarly communication and arranging legal issues.
- for content: a modular set of "Digital Peer Publishing Licenses". DPPL is designed for scholarly content because it covers aspects of authenticity, citation, biblographic data and metadata, permant access and open formats.
- for software: Deutsche Free Software License [German only]
