A new Open Access information platform will be developed as a funded project by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). Its goal is to collect information to Open Access, give concrete recommendations for action and argumentation assistance, exchange of practical experiences as well as materials to Open Access. The Open Access information platform addresses itself primarily to scientific authors, university administration and socities.

Im Rahmen eines DFG-Projekts wird eine Open-Access-Informationsplattform aufgebaut, die Informationen zu Open Access sammelt, konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen und Argumentationshilfen gibt, den Austausch praktischer Erfahrungen unterstützt, sowie Materialien zu Open Access bereitstellt. Damit soll der internationalen Bedeutung Rechnung getragen und der Bekanntheitsgrad und die Praxis bei deutschen Wissenschaftlern erhöht und gefördert werden. Die Open-Access-Informationsplattform richtet sich primär an wissenschaftliche Autoren, Hochschulleitungen und Fachgesellschaften.
