Scholarly Communication is an essential drive of innovation and progress. Novel forms of digital information management in academic work improve and accelerate scholarly communication and provide new opportunities.
The initiative "Digital Peer Publishing NRW" supports novel forms of scholarly communication by providing technical, legal, and organisational frameworks and tools for scholars, libraries and academic institutions -- for better digital information sharing and distribution among peers in a given disciplinary field and beyond.

DiPP was funded by the Ministry of Innovation NRW and is managed by hbz -- renowned for its developments and services for digital libraries and information retrieval technologies.
